The Akamasoa Mahatsara vocational training center under construction in Betsizaraina is entering its second phase. Led by the State through CCPREAS (Coordination Unit for Relaunching Projects and Social Actions), this project aims to strengthen access for young people, particularly the most vulnerable, to vocational training and job placement. This new stage focuses on sanitation and development of the area surrounding the center. It also includes construction of a fence and gate to secure the site and improve reception conditions for future beneficiaries. Launched in 2022, the project has already shown significant progress. Several facilities have been completed, including a main building, four dormitories, eight training workshops, seven classrooms, and an administrative building. Through this center, authorities aim to support both education and social protection, two sectors presented as priorities. The infrastructure should provide young people with practical, relevant training and better employment prospects.
