Held at the Mahamasina Sports Palace yesterday afternoon, Generation 2000 brought together iconic figures from the 2000s before an enthusiastic and predominantly young audience. The sold-out concert gathered fans eager to reconnect with artists who defined the 2000s era. The event opened with entertainment from DJs Hman and Natoo, followed by a succession of performances set against a backdrop of large colorful LED screens.

Performing artists included Marion, Tovo J'Hay, Spydee, Tempo Gaigy, Imagine, 18.3 and several others. Highly anticipated after years away, 18.3 returned to his fans, responding to strong demand expressed throughout previous editions of Generation 2000.

Highlights came throughout the show. Tempo Gaigy had the crowd singing along to "Izany foana" before performing several Tif A Tif tracks, including "Sipasipako" and "Mahazo mandeha." These songs thrilled the predominantly young audience, who sang and danced from start to finish.

Marion also captivated the crowd in an emotional atmosphere with her signature hits, notably "I Love You." For nearly four hours, artists revisited the successes that marked an entire generation, in an atmosphere both festive and nostalgic. With this new edition, Generation 2000 once again succeeded in its mission: bringing multiple generations together around the artists who shaped their youth.
