The Tsingy Toastmasters Club is a bilingual club (French-English) affiliated with Toastmasters International. "It offers a benevolent, friendly and dynamic learning environment where everyone can develop their communication, leadership and personal development skills through an internationally recognized training program," explains Mamitiana Rakotondranaivo, incoming club president, during the official torch-passing ceremony with outgoing president Johanne Rahamefy, the day before yesterday. "Every story told through public speaking matters. It is by forging that one becomes a blacksmith. The option of simplicity is key: there is no need for perfection to advance in the learning journey. Commitment is what guarantees the growth of each member and that of the club," emphasizes Mamitiana Rakotondranaivo, incoming club president. Young people's interest in leadership continues to grow. "I am interested in leadership because I believe it is important to know how to take initiatives and be able to inspire others. Through this training, I want to improve my communication skills, strengthen my self-confidence and learn to work better as a team," testifies a young participant. Outgoing president Johanne Rahamefy recalls that Toastmasters goes beyond the simple framework of oratory to become a true school of leadership. "We learn to exercise leadership with heart, to practice meaningful communication, to create relationships based on respect, to show empathy and to act with authenticity.
