More relief than alarm for food poisoning victims in Antehiroka. Most patients have recovered and returned home yesterday. Around thirty people were discharged from the hospital, according to information gathered from the Joseph Ravoahangy Andrianavalona University Hospital Center (CHU-JRA). "Only two people are still here, including our sister-in-law," says Oria, a relative of a victim hospitalized in the medical intensive care and toxicology unit at CHU-JRA yesterday. The remaining hospitalized victims are suffering from blood pressure problems, stomach pain, and fatigue. "My older sister's blood pressure is very unstable," explains Serge Fanomezana Mandimbison, brother of one of the victims. While the health condition of most victims is beginning to improve, in Antehiroka, the population remains cautious. "All the food stalls in our neighborhood did not open their doors today," says Oria.
