Digital technology is no longer limited to connecting populations; it has become a genuine lever for inclusion, employment, and sustainable development. This is the main message conveyed by Orange Africa and Middle East in its 2025 CSR report, titled "Growing Together." Present with over 179 million customers and employing nearly 19,000 staff members, the group presents in this document the results of its actions in favor of more accessible digital services, more resilient infrastructure, and sustainable growth in Africa and the Middle East. According to the explanations, the strategy rests on three pillars: resilient infrastructure, digital inclusion, and responsible governance. Orange continues to expand its networks while strengthening their security through cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The operator is also accelerating the solarization of its sites and increasing the use of renewable energy to reduce the environmental impact of its activities. For meaningful change, inclusion constitutes another major focus. Through Orange Money, Orange Bank Africa, Orange Energies, the super-app Max it, and affordable Sanza smartphones, the group aims to bring digital, financial, and energy services closer to populations. Orange Digital Centers, established in 16 countries, have already supported 1.4 million beneficiaries. These structures offer training, international certifications, as well as incubation and startup support programs. Orange aims to train three million young people by 2030. The report also highlights employee mobilization through Orange Engage for Change, a program dedicated to social and environmental initiatives. According to Yasser Shaker, Chief Executive Officer of Orange Africa and Middle East, the group's performance is now measured as much by the quality of its networks as by the concrete opportunities created for populations.
