Unprecedented. The city of Toliara welcomed thirty-two artists at the covered gymnasium last Sunday. Interesting performances have not taken place for a long time in large venues like the covered gymnasium or Maître Kira stadium in Andaboly. Since performances have been limited to cabarets organized in restaurants or at most at the seaside garden with a maximum of five hundred people, the one organized last Sunday made waves. As part of the music festival, production associations "TL Production" and "Dreamnest" organized a show featuring singer "Meitod", whose real name is Adrien Abdullahi. A Mahoran singer who ventures into melodious and poetic pieces, blending zouk, RnB and afropop. Alongside him, Malagasy singer "Vezoo", performing in a similar style and also residing abroad. Local singers, including Madmax, Rijade, Kifr, ALG, Jijih, Darida, Degat Killer, Oley, Young Jeff, Backom le Rasta, Jaovavy, Joyce Mena, Dapo, Donny, Biblah, Fabiango, and Delton, each performed three songs. The show started at 5 p.m. at the gymnasium and didn't end until 4 a.m., with the highly anticipated singers taking the stage around morning. "It's exceptional. It's a first show but I didn't expect to have this many people," confided Young Jeff, one of the artists backstage. "The gymnasium wasn't packed to the brim but it attracted crowds. The ticket price isn't affordable for everyone in Toliara, with 10,000 ariary, 15,000 ariary and 50,000 ariary for VIPs; otherwise, more people would have come. The organizers simply failed to mention that the show would last all night. It was thrilling for the parents of this young audience," remarked a resident of the City of the Sun.
