Denise is gearing up for a busy 2026. Between major concerts, a new partnership and the expansion of Makua Festival, Denise is preparing a year marked by large-scale artistic projects.
2026 promises to be particularly intense for Denise. The singer is juggling multiple projects including major concerts, a new collaboration as a brand ambassador and the expansion of Makua Festival, which she aims to establish among the region's major cultural events.
The first highlight will take place on August 2 with a major concert at Palais des sports Mahamasina, where Denise will share the stage with Shyn, Ljo and several other artists. On July 31, she will reunite with her elder Jaojoby on the stage of La Balançoire during the Live Stage, offering the public a musical encounter between two generations of artists.
Beyond the stage, the singer has also been named official ambassador of World Cola by Star Madagascar for a one-year period. This distinction rewards her artistic journey, her talent, her reputation in Madagascar and internationally, as well as the strong community that follows her on social media. For Denise: "This collaboration represents above all an opportunity to promote Malagasy products to consumers in the country and to contribute to their valorization".
Mobilization
The artist's other major project is Makua Festival Music, a cultural and musical event that she created with Shyn and their team. The next edition will take place from October 29 to November 1 in Toamasina. This year, the festival will move to a new site in the city center, on the beach facing La Ville (formerly Miami). "We will make sure it's a real festival and a real stage that has nothing to envy from those abroad," affirms Denise.
Preparations are already underway with the mobilization of artists and technical teams. This edition will bring together artists from Réunion and Mayotte, while giving significant space to new Malagasy talents. "We have identified the points to improve and we want to offer a giant stage and an even better experience than the previous editions," she emphasizes.
For four days, Makua Festival will offer a rich program composed of major concerts, stands dedicated to local crafts and gastronomy, as well as a grand carnival that will animate the streets of Toamasina. The event also aims to serve as a genuine springboard for young Malagasy artists to showcase their creativity.
Faithful to its motto, "From Madagascar to the World", the festival intends to showcase Madagascar's culture, values and talents far beyond its borders. This momentum will continue with the first edition of Makua Festival in Antananarivo, scheduled for the end of November, marking a new milestone in the development of this cultural event.
