This is why the WFP (World Food Programme) actively collaborates with public institutions, development partners and businesses to build inclusive food systems and invest in the future. WFP Madagascar's participation in the CSR and SDG Fair on July 2 and 3 reaffirmed a crucial message: community resilience and human capital development are true drivers of competitiveness for businesses. In 2025, this synergy generated concrete results across the country. The WFP notably supported over 445,000 students through school canteens, a fundamental lever for improving children's nutrition and education. In parallel, the organization supported over 20,000 small producers to facilitate their market access, while purchasing over 4,400 tonnes of local produce to supply these same canteens. Additionally, 250 farmers' organizations benefited from targeted support to adopt agricultural practices adapted to climate change.
