Runaway. On Monday around 9:20 p.m., officers from the Rapid Intervention Unit of the Atsimondrano central police station discovered a 14-year-old girl wandering alone near the steps leading to the Catholic church in Tanjombato. The young girl was carrying a backpack and appeared disoriented. Upon investigation, it was found that she had left her relatives' home in Marohoho, Tsimbazaza, following a family dispute, before finding herself alone on the street. Law enforcement immediately took charge of the teenager and safely returned her home in Tsimbazaza. They then educated her family about the importance of dialogue in resolving conflicts and preventing such situations from recurring. The National Police acknowledge that this type of problem is frequent, but can always be resolved through communication and mutual listening. They also invite the public not to hesitate to seek help from officers in the field if needed. They emphasize their commitment to ensuring the protection and security of all. Gustave Mparany
