Around Lake Anosy, public infrastructure shows signs of deterioration. According to people who regularly visit the area, these damages occur at night. "We notice that installations around the lake are deteriorating day by day. At night, some people take advantage of the calm to remove the fencing. The next day, we often discover new sections of the fence missing," says a local resident. Over time, the remaining fence elements have been diverted from their original purpose. Some barriers now serve to dry clothes for homeless people occupying the surroundings of the lake. Regular visitors regret the progressive degradation of the site, which harms the image of Lake Anosy. They also alert to risks related to safety and destruction of public property.
