For some time now, politicians close to the current regime have been preparing public opinion in this direction. The country is heading toward a unilateral extension of the Transition. Indeed, many observers have noticed that politicians close to the Refoundation regime have begun preparing public opinion accordingly. Just last week, during Colonel Michaël Randrianirina's visit to Toamasina, Fidèle Razara Pierre, deputy elected in Ambatondrazaka, directly pressured the president of the Refoundation of the Republic of Madagascar to demand the establishment of a Tetezamitatra. If we follow his proposal, a remake of the 2009 scheme cannot be ruled out. But the only difference is that this time, the leaders of the Refoundation regime intend to do it unilaterally. It must be recalled that in 2009, it was the Roadmap signed by all political protagonists that decided on the establishment of a consensual and inclusive Transition, notably through the appointment of a Prime Minister and the formation of a consensus government that saw the participation of all political forces. This was one of the conditions that the international community had imposed at the time to lift sanctions against Madagascar and restore the country's return to the concert of nations. If we refer to the principles applied in resolving the various crises that have succeeded each other in the country, any eventual extension of the Transition deadline requires a precise chronogram and a clear distribution key of the Republic's institutions accepted by all. Forcing by the leaders of the Refoundation risks plunging the Great Island into a new confrontation with the international community and would cause further economic, political and social difficulties. After the deputy of Ikalamavony, Pety Rakotoniaina, and certain members of GEN Z, it is now the turn of the vice-president of the National Assembly representing the former province of Toamasina to demand the extension of the transitional regime. Many political analysts believe that this series of proposals is not by chance. It would rather be a carefully prepared talking point to gauge public reaction. The question that also arises is to know the opinion of former president Marc Ravalomanana on the subject. Does this declared candidate in the presidential race endorse the position of Fidèle Razara Pierre, deputy elected under the banner of Tiako I Madagasikara? Because if not, the deputy of Ambatondrazaka risks being called to order by his boss. No one is unaware that Dada has been preparing the ground for a long time for his participation in the presidential election. Given his age, a possible extension of the Transition, as well as a postponement of the election date, could be considered as a maneuver aimed at indirectly eliminating the number one of the Tiko Empire from the race for the supreme office. A political elimination that could provoke tension, or even divorce, between the Zanak'i Dada and the supporters of the Refoundation. No one is unaware that with the exclusion of deposed president Andry Rajoelina, Marc Ravalomanana is the great favorite for the next presidential election. While many citizens, notably young activists of GEN Z, persist in demanding the dissolution of the lower chamber, the deputies, for their part, are beginning to pressure the head of state by encouraging him to maneuver to extend his transitional mandate. A scheme that, in turn, would keep them in their posts. Indeed, the calculation would be simple: holding a presidential election would end the current legislature and logically lead to early legislative elections.
