A vendor stationed in front of Poste Malagasy at Analakely has been sanctioned with a 15-day prohibition on conducting business, along with a fine of 50,000 ariary. This measure follows the enforcement of the Municipal Hygiene Code (CMH) at this sales location. Previously, the Antananarivo Urban Municipality (CUA) conducted an awareness campaign among vendors to encourage them to clean and maintain the hygiene of their respective sales spaces. Despite reminders and requests to traders to remove waste and debris related to their activities, some refused to comply with the directives. "They also displayed behavior deemed inappropriate," the CUA reported in its statement. Faced with this situation, the CUA applied measures provided for under current regulations. The Municipality calls on all vendors to respect hygiene and discipline rules at sales locations. The objective is to preserve a clean, orderly environment that respects everyone.
