BEPC 2026: First results released with 90.95% pass rate in Morafenobe, 40.67% in Befotaka
School districts with the largest number of candidates are still awaiting results, typically the last to publish. The suspense is over for some BEPC 2026 candidates. The first results were released over the weekend, available on the Ministry of National Education (MEN) website and via SMS from the three mobile operators. The school districts (CISCO) of Iakora and Ambatomainty led the way by publishing results for the Certificate of First Cycle Studies (BEPC) on Saturday, July 11, 2026, less than a week after exams began on July 6 and just two days after the final exam on July 9. These two CISCOs recorded pass rates of 75.86% for Iakora and 69.41% for Ambatomainty respectively. Candidates now know the outcome of their exams, which open the doors to secondary school. Those who passed the entrance exam for tenth grade will enter public secondary schools, while private schools are open to students who chose the private sector. Those who failed the public secondary entrance exam have no choice but to attend private institutions. For now, attention remains focused on BEPC results. So far, among CISCOs that have already published results, Morafenobe recorded the best pass rate at 90.95% of candidates admitted. The poorest performances were observed in Befotaka with 40.67% and Maintirano with 41.16%. Other CISCOs include: Andramasina (68.98%); Manjakandriana (75.49%); Ambatolampy (65.33%); Sainte-Marie (76.39%); Kandreho (88.76%); Mandoto (77.81%); Ikalamavony (61.91%); Besalampy (54.70%); Benenitra (86.55%); Sakaraha (64.51%); Faratsiho (60.44%); Ambohidratrimo (61.89%).
