K'olo Disaraga Cultural Centre presents the Adabolatsaka Festival. The K'olo Disaraga Cultural Centre unveiled, during a press conference in Ambohitsoa, the inaugural edition of the Adabolatsaka Festival, which will take place from July 25 to August 1, 2026 in Antananarivo. For eight days, Madagascar's capital will transform into a true international stage dedicated to dance, culture and youth. Led by the K'olo Disaraga Cultural Centre and its initiator, Saraela Ramparany, the festival aims to fill a glaring gap: the lack of genuine recognition spaces for Malagasy dancers and those from the region. "We want to offer a stage for expression, recognition and prominence to emerging talents," the organizer emphasized. On the programme: over 2,500 expected spectators, 26 events and participation from 150 artists from Madagascar, Réunion, Mauritius and Guadeloupe. Performances, masterclasses, competitions, workshops, conferences and exhibitions will take place across seven emblematic sites: K'olo Disaraga, Havoria, Alliance Française d'Antananarivo, Jardin d'Antaninarenina, Cité des Cultures, CGM and Analakely esplanade. The festival benefits from sponsorship by the Ministries of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as Tourism, and official support from YAS Madagascar.
