Press conference held for Think Equal program national restitution event 2025-2026. Génération Mada organized a press conference yesterday at its headquarters to present the national restitution event for the Think Equal school year 2025-2026, under the patronage of the Ministry of National Education, themed "Skills for Life, Changes for the Future." This major event will take place on Friday, July 17, 2026 at FOFIKRI in Ankadikely Ilafy. Founded over 20 years ago, Génération Mada brings together young people, teachers, public and private institutions, and technical and financial partners around a shared mission: training education actors to unlock the potential of new Malagasy generations. The organization places socio-emotional development of children at the heart of its work, addressing persistent challenges in child well-being, emotion management, school violence, and quality of relationships in educational settings. During the 2025-2026 school year, the Think Equal program was deployed in five regions, reaching over 13,000 children, 378 classrooms, and 337 education professionals. Three pillars structured its implementation: integrating socio-emotional learning into daily school life, strengthening teacher capacity, and creating inclusive and caring educational environments. The world's first holistic socio-emotional learning program for children aged 3 to 9, Think Equal has existed since 2016 and was introduced to Madagascar in 2023 by Génération Mada. "By unlocking the potential of educators, we shape a generation capable of meeting tomorrow's economic, social, and environmental challenges," emphasizes Fabio Rasoloarinjatovo, Think Equal project leader at Génération Mada.
