Women Up Africa Madagascar is launching a new momentum for female entrepreneurship. The economic empowerment of Malagasy women lies at the heart of Women Up Africa Madagascar's vision. On June 17th, during the closing of World Craft Day, the organization unveiled its vision. This meeting was also marked by the signing of a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts. Established in Madagascar since December 2025, the organization works to support women's economic initiatives, promote local products, and facilitate access to opportunities and financing. This agreement reflects a shared commitment to strengthen craft and entrepreneurial sectors with strong potential, while highlighting Malagasy expertise. Through this collaboration, Women Up Africa Madagascar aims to create bridges between women entrepreneurs, cooperatives, public institutions, and technical and financial partners. The goal is to strengthen the visibility and competitiveness of Malagasy products on both national and international markets. "By focusing on female leadership and the promotion of 'Vita Malagasy,' the organization is part of a sustainable transformation dynamic where women occupy a central place in the country's economic development," states a statement on the matter.
