Vohipeno. A medical caravan, called the "Smile Caravan," is traveling through these areas from July 1st to 10th. "The caravan develops a proximity care strategy that is part of our strategies within our cooperation program. So, with the Ministry of Public Health, we have mobile clinics deployed in the regions. When AFG Assurance approached us to initiate the Smile Caravan, it aligned perfectly with our strategies. And so, we decided to work together throughout this Smile Caravan," says Yves Toalo, representative of the Atlantique Groupe Foundation, which organizes this Smile Caravan with AFG Assurance and the Ministry of Public Health. "Several health services will be offered as part of this 'Smile Caravan'. These include diabetes screening and treatment, disease prevention through child vaccination, dental care, specific women's health services, and general medicine," announces Prof. Milijaona Randrianarivelojosia from the Ministry of Public Health. More than a thousand people will benefit from these services. "We are targeting at least fifteen hundred people in the cities we will visit," the source continues.
