Ambohijatovo-Analakely: White March for Peace
A major mobilization is being prepared under the banner of a large peaceful march, entirely dressed in white. This significant event invites the entire population to unite to express a deep desire for social serenity and stability. Organizers are launching a solemn appeal to leaders to fully assume their responsibilities in the face of current national challenges. At the heart of the demands lies a common and determined struggle against growing insecurity that weighs on citizens' daily lives. The messages displayed are clear and striking, notably denouncing with force child abductions and extreme violence that too often end tragically. The official date is set for Saturday, July 18, 2026. The large gathering will begin at 10 a.m. on Ambohijatovo square. Participants, dressed entirely in white as a sign of purity and non-violence, will then begin their procession through the city. The solidarity march will conclude on the Analakely esplanade, a highly symbolic place in public life. This demonstration aims above all to be a space of solidarity and brotherhood where every citizen can make their voice heard peacefully. Faced with the distress of families, this great white march embodies hope for a better and safer future for the entire Malagasy nation.
