Preparations for the Flyover construction project are moving at full speed. A working meeting was held yesterday in Anosy, chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works, Emile Joseph Sambisolo, with officials from all levels and relevant departments to discuss the essential points of this project. The date for launching the Anosizato Flyover construction is approaching. Construction of this new bridge will officially begin on July 29, 2026, according to the Ministry of Public Works.
Discussions with all project partners have made it possible to plan and coordinate the organization of this site launch. Partners extensively discussed support measures and compensation for people affected by the project, whether during or after their relocation from their place of residence or economic activity. In parallel, participants have already planned traffic management as well as the reorganization of nearby traders throughout the duration of the work.
This project is divided into two lots. The first concerns the construction of the Flyover, with the realization of four access ramps. It also includes the construction of two new bridges at the level of the Ikopa river and the construction work of four slip roads. The second lot concerns the widening of traffic lanes around the new structure. This concerns the development work of RN1 into 2x2 lanes, from the bridge exit to the Antanimenakely intersection. It also includes rehabilitation work on RN58A, between Ankadimbahoaka and the roundabout exit.
