The date is set: on September 27, the band AmbondronA will take on its traditional concert at the Coliseum in Antsonjombe. Without luxury reinforcements, because it often takes several acts to fill the 30,000 seats at this venue. For over a decade, this pop rock band has consistently managed to sell out. Given how things are going, for a group of forty-somethings still dominating the charts in the country, it would be difficult to see AmbondronA fail to deliver this year. While the band is not inviting other major names in Malagasy music to fill the seats, it is instead inviting emerging groups to take the stage. A way to also promote young careers.
