The FEF project is funded by the French embassy. The Vakinankaratra region is among those affected by food insecurity, where not only food availability is lacking, but also its proper storage and nutritional use. The FEF Nutrition initiative aims to provide nutritional education and guidance within households, with monitoring of implementation activities. The project deadline is set for July 1, 2026. This initiative is supported by the French embassy in Madagascar. The FEF project partners include the National Nutrition Office (ONN), the Regional Nutrition Office (ORN) Vakinankaratra, and various organizations within the SUN initiative "Scaling Up Nutrition". Additional partners include HINA, MIKASA, and Anjara masoandro. The FEF Nutrition project is expected to significantly impact food insecurity rates in Vakinankaratra. Access to adequate and healthy food for households is a crucial factor in public health and sustainable development.
