A workshop called "Orange Ainga Data" was recently organized by Orange Madagascar, through Orange Digital Center and INGEDATA, specialists in data and artificial intelligence. Nearly 200 students and professionals participated at the Orange Digital Center in Soarano. They represented EMIT Fianarantsoa, ENI Fianarantsoa, MISA, the SESAME program, ESTI, the Mathematics department, Orange Digital Center, the Higher School of Computer Science (HEI), and the National Higher Institute of Computer Science (INS). This workshop is dedicated to revealing Malagasy talent in data and AI. The objective is to make digital technology a genuine lever of opportunity for youth and a driver of development for Madagascar. On this occasion, Orange Digital Center and INGEDATA officially launched a certification training program in artificial intelligence for Malagasy youth, aimed at structuring a center of excellence in Madagascar.

These two companies are strengthening their partnership by committing to train, support, and develop skills in data and artificial intelligence, serving the entire Malagasy ecosystem. This AI certification program offers an intensive curriculum based on real-world use cases, closely aligned with business needs, and rare on-the-ground expertise at this scale in Madagascar, provided by INGEDATA. Furthermore, concrete recruitment opportunities will open for trained talents. Additionally, an Ideathon was organized, along with intensive exchanges and debates among participants. Those who took part were invited to design, in just a few hours, a data or artificial intelligence solution addressing a real business problem. Following this competition, Orange Digital Center received the Grand Jury Prize for its project titled "Step Up Brain," a platform designed to centralize data, process it, and generate decision support. Meanwhile, ENI Fianarantsoa won the Audience Choice Award for its project "Personalized Newsletter for Customers." They will be the first to benefit from this certification training, with the possibility of seeing their projects grow within Orange Digital Center.

"What we experienced today is concrete proof that Malagasy youth have the ideas, audacity, and skills to transform a real business need into a digital solution. This is why we are launching, with INGEDATA, an artificial intelligence certification program: our ambition is to offer a first cohort of Malagasy talents an intensive curriculum based on real-world use cases, to make them the architects of AI in Madagascar," explained Aminata Ndiaye, General Director of Orange Madagascar.
