Eight people were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred early Friday morning, June 19, at Manelo, in the fokontany of Anjomakely, rural commune of Bongatsara, on national road number 7. The accident occurred around 6:20 a.m. when a Mazda BT-50 4x4 vehicle, traveling toward Antananarivo, collided head-on with a Sprinter van. Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the injured to the nearest medical facility for treatment.
