The Entrepreneurs' Hub, a weekly gathering of entrepreneurs at Score's premises in Toliara, was highly dynamic last Thursday. The meeting takes place in a restaurant that promotes the concept of a meeting place for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, networking over brunch or grilled food. The session focused on the journey from project idea to growth. Notable speakers explained the stages and lifecycle of an entrepreneurial project. "An entrepreneurial project idea starts with an opportunity that must be seized," explained Raïssa Andrianivoniaina, Business Developer at Miarakap, one of the speakers. For a project to be successful and meet community needs, it should ideally be developed with incubators like the NGO Saramba Initiative, which particularly supports women in entrepreneurship. "I'm planning to start a banana chip project. A project that doesn't require significant funds. I came here today to validate my idea and get information on how to implement it," explains José, a young management student at Toliara University. "I intend to start an online sales business using existing merchandise from Antananarivo. How can I get funding for this project? I got answers, but I'm not entirely satisfied yet," says Nambintsoa, a 4th-year management student. "There's no competition when it comes to raising the level of entrepreneurship in Toliara. We work closely with incubators, technical and financial partners, and we leverage our existing networks to support young people in their initiatives," summarizes Dina Razafiniarivo, coordinator of Women Entrepreneurship in the Indian Ocean (EFOI), Toliara branch.
