Canal+ Madagascar subscribers are temporarily without access to TF1 group channels. The historic pay-TV operator in Madagascar has ceased distribution of TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films, LCI, Ushuaïa TV and Histoire TV channels over the past few days. The shutdown follows failed negotiations with TF1 group. "While CANAL+ group maintains long-term partnerships with all major French historical players and leading international streaming platforms, despite several months of negotiations, it was unable to reach a comprehensive agreement even though it was prepared to improve conditions for TF1," the operator stated in a press release. Canal+ remains open to dialogue and available to resume discussions to reach an agreement based on reasonable, balanced and sustainable terms, preserving the interests of both parties.
