To mark the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Republic of Korea's embassy in Madagascar, the ancestral sounds of Korea will soon resonate in Antananarivo. Ambassador Park Ji Hyun of the Republic of Korea to Madagascar and her husband, Kang Kyounghoon, present Sanare, a fusion concert between traditional Korean music and Western music, taking place this Saturday at the Novotel Convention.

The performance promises a musical immersion where traditional Korean instruments, such as the daegeum and gayageum, dialogue with classical Western instruments like violin, cello, and piano. This musical encounter will highlight the richness of Korean heritage while opening it to contemporary sounds.

Beyond instrumental music, the concert will also integrate pansori, a traditional Korean singing art, as well as dance performances. The ensemble will offer the audience a harmonious experience, blending centuries-old traditions and modern artistic expressions.

Through this cultural event, the Republic of Korea's embassy in Madagascar celebrates ten years of diplomatic presence while strengthening cultural exchanges between the two countries.
