The official launch of the mobile medical campaign 'Smile Caravan' took place yesterday in Ankorondrano. Designed to provide accessible healthcare, the caravan will travel through several localities. After leaving the capital, it will head to Antsirabe, then continue to Ambositra, Manakara, and finally Vohipeno. This humanitarian and health initiative will operate in the field until July 10, bringing real relief to local populations. During its visits, a wide range of free medical services will be offered to patients. The program emphasizes prevention and comprehensive care. Services will include vaccination campaigns for children, gynecology-obstetrics consultations for women's health monitoring, dental care, and general medicine. According to Professor Milijaona, a member of the Public Health Ministry cabinet, initial projections estimate treating at least 1,500 people. Additional waves of mobile consultations will be organized soon to cover the rest of the country. The 'Smile Caravan' is the result of close collaboration between the Public Health Ministry, Atlantique Group Foundation, UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund), and AFG Assurances.
