A violent home invasion occurred in the Tsarazaza locality, Ambohitrambo district, Arivonimamo, on Tuesday night. According to reports, three armed men broke into a residence around 11 p.m., carrying knives and machetes. They forced their way through the fence and entered the house. Without hesitation, they demanded money from the homeowners. The family resisted the attackers, leading to a fierce struggle. Overwhelmed and desperate, the family members tried to flee but were caught. The father of the family was brutally attacked with a machete, his wife was struck, and their children were wounded and beaten. The criminals did not leave until they found and took money from the house. They fled the scene afterward. Emergency services were called and the family was taken to the hospital. However, the father died from severe blood loss. The three injured family members continue to receive medical treatment. Police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
