Homicide. The crime occurred Tuesday evening at Marohoho, in the annex of a private university. Around 7:15 p.m., two security guards clashed. One of them, named Tafita, was stabbed in the abdomen and died. His colleague, 50 years old, identified as the perpetrator, fled immediately after the incident. According to their supervisor, the 50-year-old had worked for the security company for nearly ten years, but only two years at the university annex. Tafita had just joined the team three months ago and was serving as backup to his attacker. The supervisor noted that the two men had never shown serious conflict, although the suspect was known for his difficult temperament and lack of respect toward superiors. A vegetable vendor who witnessed the scene says she heard the gate slam before discovering Tafita lying on the ground. She claims she confronted the perpetrator, asking why he had attacked his coworker, but he did not respond. He simply grabbed his bag and left the premises. He remains at large. Gustave Mparany
