Contemporary Malagasy art continues to shine internationally. Following her participation in the collective exhibition "Lamba ho any" at the MadagasyArt Festival, launched in May in Paris, Dina Rabearivelo continues her journey in France with the fifth stage of her artistic tour. From June 29 to July 4, the artist presents around twenty of her works in the heart of Aix-en-Provence, offering French audiences a sensitive reflection on the human condition through visual arts.
Titled "A Little More Humanity," this exhibition brings together a series of works dedicated to humanity in all its dimensions. The artist explores both physical appearance—anatomy, hairstyle, clothing and accessories—as well as social, cultural, relational, organizational and environmental realities. Through this selection, Dina Rabearivelo offers an artistic reading of the human condition while sharing a Malagasy creator's perspective on the contemporary world.
This fifth stage of the tour takes place in downtown Aix-en-Provence, a space recognized for its artistic and cultural life. Around twenty works have been selected to represent Malagasy visual arts to French audiences.
Beyond the exhibition, Dina Rabearivelo will also perform live painting, giving visitors the opportunity to witness the birth of a work in real time. This performance enriches the artistic experience by creating immediate exchange between the public and the artist.
