The Revery, the Malagasy rock group, will reconnect with its audience this Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Institut Français de Madagascar. Following the release of their debut album Alina in 2024, the band promises an intense concert experience fueled by rock energy and the power of their compositions.
The performance will blend "raw emotion, rock energy, and musical complicity" to offer spectators both an intense and sensitive experience. Founded in 2017 in Antananarivo, The Revery has gradually established itself on Madagascar's independent rock scene through an authentic style. Their compositions address themes such as environmental urgency, human emotions, and mental health, in a register that is both introspective and dynamic.
The band consists of Antonio on drums, Kiady and Axel on guitars, Riccardo on bass and vocals. Together, these musicians champion a singular artistic identity that contributes to the vitality of Madagascar's rock scene.
