This is the purpose of organizing a workshop on developing a roadmap for digital transformation of agriculture at the Carlton Hotel, starting yesterday, with support from the World Bank through the KWPF mechanism. Subsequently, a public agricultural digital infrastructure and three digital solutions are being launched for producers. Strengthening resilience. These include a national directory of producers, linked to monitoring agricultural product prices, and a reliable weather alert system updated in real-time. Additionally, a personalized advisory platform will be established while taking into account local contexts and the realities of farmers. "These digital solutions will serve to strengthen the resilience of producers against climate and economic shocks while facilitating their access to market information and improving agricultural technical advice," explained the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Gaetan Ramindo, at the opening of this workshop yesterday. Optimizing productivity. Furthermore, he emphasized that these digital tools will in no way replace the expertise and experience of producers. "On the contrary, they contribute to optimizing their agricultural productivity and better sales, not forgetting anticipating risks from climate hazards to sustainably improve their income. The objective is to develop digital transformation of agriculture in an inclusive manner, leaving no producer behind," he added. Three winning firms are mandated to develop these applications under the supervision of NextA technical assistant.
