Madagascar's Anti-Corruption Framework Under International Scrutiny
An important international evaluation of Madagascar's anti-corruption system will take place from June 30 to July 2, 2026. As part of the second cycle of the Mechanism for Review of Implementation of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), Madagascar will host a delegation of expert examiners tasked with assessing the compliance of its legal framework and the effectiveness of measures implemented to prevent corruption and recover illicit assets.
