For 20 years, the "ABC Domino" association has been working in education by developing private schools, middle schools and high schools in Efoetse, Beheloke and Itampolo, on the southern coast of Toliara. It is now continuing its commitment with the opening of a new digital campus in Toliara. The newly renovated infrastructure is located on Boulevard Luautey, by the sea in Toliara. The campus can accommodate one hundred twenty bachelor's graduates and students and offers a modern setting for an educational institution. The campus features computer-equipped classrooms and large screens, offices, meeting rooms, relaxation areas and a cafeteria. The official inauguration, held last Friday, was attended by the international president of the association, Yves Cohen, who came from France to mark the importance he places on this project. "This campus allows our students to access additional training in Toliara once they have obtained their bachelor's degree from the Efoetse high school. While waiting for their enrollment at Toliara University, they will be able to develop their digital skills, given the importance of digital technology in today's world," he explained in his speech. Opening For now, this new space dedicated to learning and digital inclusion is reserved for bachelor's graduates from ABC Domino high school. Each year, it will welcome new bachelor's graduates. Even after entering university, students will be able to continue attending the campus if their faculties do not have connected spaces. The campus will also allow them to strengthen their language skills in French and English. "It is about having them experience languages in a more intensive way than what they learned in remote areas and will thus be able to face the job market," explains Rachel Rakotoson, president of the association in Madagascar. She emphasizes that the campus is not yet intended to serve as student housing. The establishment of this digital campus represents a new milestone for the association, which educates nearly four thousand children within six primary schools, three middle schools and one high school in the Toliara II and Ampanihy districts, where access to quality infrastructure remains limited. In the near future, the digital campus will open language and digital skills training to local NGOs and businesses wishing to improve their language and computer skills.
