Divisional Police Commissioner Alain Adonis Rafalimanana has assumed a new responsibility. He now heads Public Security in the Analamanga region, following a military ceremony held Wednesday at the National Higher School of Police (ENSP) Ivato. The ceremony, presided over by the Minister of Public Security, Inspector General of Police Erick Michel, took place in the presence of several government members as well as civil and military officials. On this occasion, Divisional Police Commissioner Razafindrazaka Hector was installed at the head of the National Police Intervention Forces. These changes come alongside a series of exceptional promotions within the National Police. Insignia were awarded to officials promoted to the ranks of divisional commissioner, senior commissioner, first and second class commissioner, police officer, police inspector, and police brigadier. The officers concerned expressed their gratitude to the authorities and reaffirmed their commitment to exercising their responsibilities with integrity, in service to the population and the maintenance of public peace.
