Unlike six new engines requiring prior construction of a reinforced concrete hangar, this equipment can be installed directly on an already prepared and cleared site. Furthermore, another large-capacity unit capable of producing 2.4 MW should also arrive later. The objective is to reach a total production of 12.1 MW to fully cover Antsiranana's electricity needs.
