Colonel Gervais Andriamiarisoa visited Tataho in Manakara district yesterday. The visit was marked by the inauguration of Al Mahdi School II complex, 150 social housing units and 50 permanent houses in Tsarasaotra. These projects received support from FCRA (Fifanampiana Centre Rassoul Akram), American NGO Confort Aid International and Axian Foundation. The latter contributed to building the 50 permanent houses in Tsarasaotra. Chief Executive Officer Cheikh Haniphe Akbaraly also mentioned support from a Malagasy donor based in Dubai, willing to finance schools, CSB II health centers and housing for disadvantaged people. The mayor of Tataho used this meeting to present the commune's needs, which has seven fokontany. Electrification, equipment for mobile neighborhoods and support for vulnerable people were discussed, among others. This highlighted the daily difficulties facing the population. In response to these requests, Colonel Gervais Andriamiarisoa handed over an envelope of 10 million ariary for underprivileged children. He also announced that uniforms for local support forces would be provided. "We must support those who need it most," he stated. The High Adviser for Refoundation also addressed politics and fihavanana. He called for overcoming political and religious divisions and emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity. The visit also showcased various projects for the population: the school complex, social housing and permanent houses built in Tsarasaotra. The High Adviser then announced the provision of fuel for regional equipment to develop an 8-hectare site reserved for future public infrastructure.
