An EDF technical mission is currently in Madagascar supporting Jirama. As part of its efforts to improve electricity supply quality, Jirama is currently hosting a technical mission from Electricity of France (EDF). The delegation, composed of Xavier Schambourg, project manager, Farouk Amir, control-command engineer, and Servet Saban, high-voltage substation studies engineer, visited the Ambohimanambola PIA and the Ambodivona substation. This mission is primarily focused on exchanging experiences and sharing best practices around technical challenges encountered in the operation and management of electrical infrastructure. On-site visits also allow technicians to examine equipment and network operating conditions, in order to better identify possible improvement opportunities. Through this technical cooperation, Jirama aims to strengthen its teams' skills and progressively improve service quality. The objective remains to ensure more reliable and efficient electricity distribution, for the benefit of users.
