Concert: The Revery unleashes raw energy at IFM next Saturday
The Revery, an emblematic formation of Malagasy independent rock, will perform in concert at the Albert Camus hall of the Institut français de Madagascar (IFM) on July 4, 2026. Founded in 2017, the band has established itself through sensitive and committed musical writing, exploring themes of environmental urgency and mental health. Their universe, both poetic and visceral, reflects a quest for balance between lucidity and emotion, hence the band's name. Following the success of their debut album Alina in 2024, this new stage marks a decisive milestone. The concert promises total immersion in a sonic space where powerful riffs, introspective melodies, and stage chemistry intertwine. Antonio on drums, Kiady and Axel on guitars, and Riccardo on bass and vocals form a tight-knit quartet whose cohesion resonates in every beat. The Revery does not merely play: it tells, it questions, it vibrates. On July 4, the audience will discover a mature artistic proposition, between dream and revolt, where rock becomes the language of the heart and mirror of society.
