Following the conclusion of the national medical aggregation competition last week, the cardiology medical specialty now has two new associate professors. They are Professor Miandrisoa Rija Mikhaël and Professor Rakoto Sedson Olivier. They bring the total number of associate professors in cardiology in Madagascar to five, among whom there are no women. To name them all, they are: Pr Rakotoarimanana Solofonirina; Pr Rabearivony Nirina; Pr Randriamihangy Narindrarimanana; Pr Miandrisoa Rija Mikhaël and Pr Rakoto Sedson Olivier. In Madagascar, cardiology is among the medical specialties with very few specialists, and even fewer associate professors. As a reminder, 35 new associate professors succeeded in the latest national medical aggregation competition.
