Dust, crowds of people, traffic congestion, noise pollution and garbage. This is what Amoronakona will face if the taxi-brousse station relocates to the old quarry site. Local residents are already expressing concern about what could happen. The relocation is considered inevitable since our infrastructure was originally located there. That old quarry site appears to have been cleaned up and traffic flow improved inside it. For years it has been one of the worst areas and remains uncontrolled to this day. This is what will happen on the Bypass, according to residents. This will further worsen the traffic situation which is already difficult to manage, especially since the ring road exists and many people use that section of road. However, many shops currently at the old quarry site will need to relocate. Residents are unhappy about moving them here, particularly those who chose to settle around Antananarivo because of the noise.
