Thirty-five physicians have obtained the title of associate professor after meeting all required conditions. Their success comes following the 2026 National Competition for Aggregation in Human Medicine and Dentistry, held from September 9-11 at INSPC Befelatanana. The closing ceremony took place on September 11, in the presence of the Minister of Public Health, Dr Monira Managna, and a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESUPRES), led by its Secretary General, Professor Jaona Harilala. Following the competition, the new associate professors must now be assigned to their positions. The government announces its intention to accelerate their assumption of duties so they can quickly exercise their new responsibilities. Their assignment should notably allow them to contribute to medical education, research, and the improvement of public health. The 2026 National Aggregation Competition thus concludes with the appointment of 35 new associate professors. Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to facilitating their assumption of duties as soon as possible.
