According to initial findings, the gunfire originated from the enclosed property of an entrepreneur residing in Soavimbahoaka. The man, reportedly intoxicated, allegedly fired several shots within his compound. Concerned by the shooting, elements from the Police Intervention Force (FIP) of Antanimora and the Special Intervention Unit (USI) immediately responded. Agents from the Anti-Gang Service (SAG) and police officers from the 8th district Public Security station in Antaninandro also joined the operation. Once the situation was controlled, the entrepreneur was arrested around 22:00 to allow an investigation to proceed. Investigators must determine the exact circumstances of the shooting and the legal status of the weapon used. According to initial investigation findings, a burglary attempt had targeted the man's home three days earlier. This may have left him traumatized. Intoxicated and having lost self-control, he allegedly used his weapon by firing inside his property. This version remains to be confirmed by the investigation.
