Training workshop on AI use within the General Directorate of the Treasury, in Antaninarenina. Artificial intelligence is beginning to find its place in the working methods of public administration. A training session dedicated to AI use within state structures was held last Tuesday, with the participation of the DG of the Public Treasury, Mbinison Dorette Ratsiavahana, and her close collaborators. Organized in partnership with the Integrated Growth Poles Project (PIC), coordinated nationally by Ladislas Adrien Rakotondrazaka, this initiative aims to familiarize public officials with concrete uses of artificial intelligence in the exercise of their duties. Within the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Public Treasury is thus paving the way for this type of training, emphasized its Director General in her remarks. The work notably focused on analyzing existing working methods and the possibilities offered by AI to improve their efficiency. Particular attention was given to mastering requests addressed to artificial intelligence tools, in order to reduce the risks of errors or inaccurate responses. Participants thus deepened their understanding of LLMs, or Large Language Models, which today form the basis of many generative AI tools. Ultimately, the objective is to increase the productivity of the administration, while improving the speed, relevance and quality of work provided by public services.
