The Fandriana district will host the first edition of the Ambodivoara Festival from August 10-16. Designed as a tool to promote the territory, the event will highlight the district's tourism, cultural and economic assets while bringing together natives of Fandriana around its development. The program includes a grand carnival, a fair dedicated to local products, a trek to Andrevaronina waterfall, pétanque and basketball competitions, a cabaret and several performances by artists from Fandriana. Demonstrations of the traditional "savika" are also among the highlights of this first edition.
