Madagascar will be represented at Robotex International 2026 by the Karoka team from Teky Vision. Composed of five students, the team will participate in this international robotics festival scheduled for South Korea from November 20 to December 2, 2026. Three members are from the School of Management and Technological Innovation (EMIT) and two from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Fianarantsoa. The team includes Edmino Parson Andriamazaoro, Mahompison Armel Tsiravalaza, Tendry Ny Avo Nekena Mélodie Randriambelo, Ny Aina Faneva Randrianasolo, and Ny Aina Fandresena Randrianasolo.

Karoka will compete in the "Maze Solving" category, a challenge where robots must detect and navigate through a maze course. The team has solid experience in robotics, electronics, programming, and application development. One member received the "Coup de cœur" award at the Tekbot Robotics Competition 2025. The team also ranked 10th at Techfest 2025, organized at IIT Bombay in India, where one of its members participated.

Robotex International brings together young innovators from many countries each year around robotics, programming, electronics, and technological innovation. For Malagasy students, this competition represents a major opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and technological expertise on the international stage. To represent Madagascar under optimal conditions, the team is seeking financial, material, logistical, or institutional support, particularly to cover travel expenses, registration fees, and costs related to their stay in South Korea. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has already provided support to the team.
