The Laughter Festival 06 is set to illuminate Madagascar's comedy scene with a more streamlined edition, designed to make a lasting impression. Organizers have chosen to reduce the number of invited artists to prioritize the strength of performances and consistency of shows. The ambition is clear: offer the public quality performances and prepare the future of a major unifying event.

This edition aims to bring talent together around a shared vision that goes beyond simple entertainment: unite comedians, vary styles, and build a lasting tradition. Organizers want to make it a major cultural event, capable of bringing comedians together and giving the public solid, varied, and memorable works. Emblematic figures like Francis Turbo, Gothlieb, and Dadavy are part of the adventure, while Joely and comedians from more recent generations bring their energy in stand-up. This mix of generations and sensibilities promises a rich experience where every spectator finds something for themselves.

The program spans three days. On September 18, Gothlieb opens at Tana Water Front with Iharantsoa as opening act, with free admission. On the 19th, Francis Turbo will share his journey at the Alliance Française, followed by Tsiresy Radilofera's MAÂT show, a one-man-show at CGM. On September 20, Cité des Cultures hosts the closing gala with Joely, Ely, Dadavy, and of course Raytra Belaw'Yck, the organizer. This time, humor enthusiasts from the East Coast won't be left out, as the festival will also be in Tamatave during this edition.
