Preparation of the 2027 Finance Bill (PLFI) continues its territorial anchoring. After several regions, Boeny and Atsinanana hosted their Regional Budget Conferences (CBR) on September 2 and 3, dedicated to gathering needs and priorities identified at the local level. These meetings are part of a series of consultations launched since the CBR began in Itasy on August 21. Analamanga, Vakinankaratra, SAVA, Diana, Melaky and Sofia have already hosted this participatory exercise. In Boeny and Atsinanana, elected officials, local leaders and development actors were able to advocate for sectors and projects deemed priorities for their territories. The objective is to better integrate regional realities into the decisions that will guide the elaboration of the state budget. Relaunched this year after several years of interruption, the CBRs aim to bring budget programming closer to the needs expressed by populations and local authorities.
