From concordant sources, those in power allegedly decided to freeze the bank accounts of INJET company. According to information, this company belonging to former President Andry Rajoelina is currently under judicial investigation in connection with the school desk affair involving former Education Minister Sahondrarimalala Marie Michelle. It remains to be seen whether this account freeze is linked to this judicial procedure. The events allegedly occurred last week. According to our source, three INJET company accounts were affected by this initiative. What intrigues observers, however, is that the freeze lasted only a few hours—blocked in the morning, the accounts were reopened in the afternoon. Yet bizarrely, all three accounts were completely emptied. INJET managers allegedly discovered after this temporary suspension that there was no balance left and that all the company's money had vanished like magic. For now, we have obtained no information concerning the exact amount of money seized. Especially since to date, no official communication has been made, neither by judicial authorities nor by the company concerned. Our source hinted, however, that it was the Illicit Assets Recovery Agency (ARAI), at the request of Antananarivo's Anti-Corruption Unit, that carried out this operation against the Rajoelina family company. It is well known that INJET was created by Andry and Mialy Rajoelina in 1999, that is, well before the former President began his political career. Zero ariary In any case, transparency and clarification are necessary in this matter to dispel any suspicion of political score-settling, as many observers believe this is an attempt to politically eliminate the former President. Because, according to our source, for now, INJET has not been subject to any judicial investigation nor even any summons before a judicial police officer. By comparison, regarding companies belonging to economic operator Mamy Ravatomanga, the decision to freeze all accounts in his name was pronounced by the first-instance court of the Anti-Corruption Unit (PAC) on November 12, 2025.
