Traffic at the Grand S section in Mandraka on RN2 is undergoing reorganization due to rehabilitation works currently underway at kilometer 68. Road users must comply with instructions from gendarmerie personnel from the Manjakandriana brigade and the Ambatolaona advanced post, who are coordinating traffic flow on site. During the works, RN2 will not be completely closed to traffic. However, some adjustments are planned, including alternating traffic flow. RN2 has also experienced slowdowns in recent times caused by breakdowns of heavy vehicles or traffic accidents blocking vehicle passage. These delays extend the Antananarivo-Toamasina journey by several hours. The presence of law enforcement personnel is essential, as it helps prevent further traffic congestion.
